Progress, Positivity & Passion: A look back at 2023

As the year draws to a close, we find ourselves reflecting on a remarkable twelve months filled with milestones and achievements.

It has been a year where our commitment to providing exceptional care has not just been maintained, but passionately enhanced, touching the lives of many. We're celebrating the collective triumphs that have made us not just a care provider, but a community where hope and positivity flourish.

We asked some members of our leadership team to tell us about their personal and professional highlights from this past year:

Claire Scott, Registered Manager:

"This year we added Ashley, Mitch and Jordan to our CLO team, and all three have helped to massively improve the department. We now also have Ertigen who is currently in training and doing well. My proudest moment has been my step up from Service Manager to Registered Manager."

Di Jones, Operations Director:

"We've grown significantly in the past year, with our complex care operations expanding and evolving particularly well. Our success with overseas recruitment has led to further opportunities for our field and office staff. A special mention to Lisa who has really stepped upto help oversee our dom care arm."

Sean Brewer, Marketing Manager:

"We've worked really hard to keep Whispers at the leading edge this year, and we've brought in some innovative and exciting ideas that have put even more distance between ourselves and the competition. We entered the HCA awards for the first time and were recognised for 'Outstanding Innovation and Best Practice', and our new digital training platform has been truly revolutionary."

Stacey Lloyd, Assistant Manager/Responsible Person:

"Our complex care department has really taken off this year, and as our client list has increased we've all embraced the opportunity to expand our knowledge amd expertise. Our nursing team has also grown, with our overseas acquisitions adding a wealth of experience."

Paul Gibbs, HR Manager:

"We're proud to foster a culture of continuous development for all of our staff. We offer NVQs and further training, and also look to reward talent and dedication by promoting internally. We have also bolstered our business support functions by adding extra HR and payroll staff."

It's clear that our dedicated teams, innovative approach, and heartfelt care have made a significant impact in the past year, but you can rest assured that there is a lot more to come in 2024 for Team Whispers! Wishing you all a happy and healthy New Year 🧩💛♾️
